The archiving option activates audio recording and transcription functions, capturing both the original speech and its translation. This option slightly increases the system’s complexity. Speakers can read the transcript in real time during their speech if they wish. Listeners can also read real-time transcripts in their preferred language. The software records the spoken speech and stores its transcription in the original language and the languages selected by listeners—all archived on a central server with the speaker’s name, date, and time.
